Artist's Comments

This series from 1988-90, was another revitalization of the earlier one-eyed woman theme. There was something about it that was haunting me so I kept on with it. Also the theme was bumped up having 3 sisters or sisters in law for 3 years that were constantly pregnant. So many children were born during this time and I opted out. I also have a whole slew of collages from 1988-89 I created during the time I worked for the Interlake Mobile Art centre in Teulon.
